ABOUT

G F Harper poems appear recently in Terse Journal, Aural Literature (Austin Public Library), La Bloga: On-line Floricanto, Raw Paw: Alien, Dark Lady Poetry, Refined Savage Poetry Review, and elsewhere. His full-length collection, Savage Yard, is published by Lit City Press. Harper has worked as an editor and cover artist for a full-length collection by Aimée Mackovic, a chapbook by Daniel Blokh, and as editor for a full-length collection by Joe Brundidge. Harper was born in Texas, and apprenticed through the WITS Writers program at Literary Arts, in partnership with public high schools, in Portland, Oregon in 2018.

Harper founded and helped develop the nonprofit literary organization Chicon Street Poets to share and encourage the writer's craft, while engaging the community through spoken word of all written mediums. While he is no longer involved in the operations of this organization he is proud to see all the great work going into its continued progress.
