ABOUT

I studied English Literature, with a minor in Psychology. I have a penchant for philosophy and have cross-studied this school of learning with poetry and art. My work focuses on line, space, and texture. I combine contemporary, impressionism, abstract, and surrealism, in order to produce a thematic art. My standalone works are a study on method and presentation as motif, whereas my collections are more so representational of broader concepts. I believe that despite the primary focus of any particular work that there is an underlying theme regarding my attempt to rediscover my cultural identity and learning to live in a society that is at odds with its diverse surroundings.

I have been focused on art and writing for more than 15 years now. It's in my blood. I primarily work with oil on canvas, drawing, pastels, and digital art.

I studied English Literature at St. Edward’s University with a specialization in Creative Writing. My work has been shown in Austin and New York.
